This documentary tells the sequential stories of four progressive politicians who ran for office in Pennsylvania during five of the most turbulent years in modern America, while the fate of democracy was being decided. 2020 - A young progressive woman in a red district runs for Congress while her family is voting for Trump. 2021- A trans candidate tries to become the first non-binary person elected as County Executive. 2022 - A woman who fled authoritarianism in Venezuela runs against a congressman who was central to January 6th. 2024 - A black gay rising political star tries to help Harris defeat Trump.
